So take a look behind the scenes of MUNCHKIN: Marvel Edition to find out what your assets are and what you’re up against!     S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Role Cards – All players start as rookie Level 1 S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and rise through the ranks as they defeat threats. Create pacts with your fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to climb the ranks more quickly, but watch out! You never know who in the organization is just waiting to betray you. The first player to reach Level 10 wins the game and becomes the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D.   Monster Cards - It will take great skill to face off with the greatest villains in the Marvel universe. Easily take down a Level 1 Hydra Solider as you go toe-to-toe in battle, or take on the ultimate challenge and battle Thor’s greatest foe, a Level 20 Loki. Be careful, because if you lose in battle all sorts of Bad Stuff can happen!     Armor and Weapons Cards – To become the highest ranking agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., you’ll have to dress the part. Suit up in Iron Man’s Armor or strap on your Spidey Suit. Then grab Mjölnir in one hand and Daredevil’s Billy Club in the other as you step onto the battlefield.     Affiliation Cards – Players may play as Avengers, Inhumans, or Spider-Friends. Each Affiliation has special abilities shown on the card.  Will you be an Inhuman and utilize your extra power or be an Avenger and rely on the strength of your allies?     Ally Cards – Sometimes you need a little help from your friends, and that means it’s time to assemble your Allies. Will you fight for your country with Captain America or utilize your gift of strength with She-Hulk?      Trap Cards – When you’re fighting the greatest villains in the Marvel Universe it’s all too easy to fall into a TRAP!  Don’t get caught in a Civil War or you’ll have to give an Ally to the player on your right. Worse yet, watch out for an Act of Vengeance where you lose an item giving you the biggest bonus.      Two Infinity Gem Cards – Infinity Gem cards can change the path of the game. Look out for two more Infinity Gems in MUNCHKIN Marvel 2: Mystic Mayhem and the final two Infinity Gems in MUNCHKIN Marvel 3: Cosmic Chaos.
